Blame or Thanks?
I'm one of those girls that had (ok, fine, has) no coordination, never played sports, was always picked last for games at school - always played girly games. I never had an Atari or any other kind of video game as a kid and never wanted one. I have, in fact, never even played a video game. Until today.....
Thanks to Spacelady, we bought a Wii today.

Hahahaha! Yay! Perhaps it will help with your coordination troubles. Have you gotten any games yet, or are you just easing your way into it with the sports pack that comes with it? We're completely hooked on Guitar Hero right now. Owie, my hands need to be massaged because they're sore and tired from picking and strumming and whatnot. (But I'm better at it than Matt is. :) And that makes me very happy.)
Phil got the Wii Play and DDR! I am SO bad at DDr - well at all of them actually. Having never played a video game, I have a huge learning curve. But I'm getting there. I'm trying to decide what to play this afternoon while the girls are napping. :)
I sucked at DDR in the beginning, too, and now I'm a dancing queen! Just keep it up. Practicing helps tremendously and I found that I improved pretty quickly.
Hooray for the Wii and DDR & Guitar Hero and...! So much fun.
I think Martin is jealous...he said 'oh, Phil got a Wii'. hahaha oh well, when he gets the room done for the baby (and if it gets done before the baby arrives!), maybe I'll get him one :-)
keep us posted on all the games you try! I have zero coordination, so I can only imagine how I would look playing it.
